About

Christopher Patterson is a visionary leader driven by faith in God and a passion for personal and spiritual growth. He believes in building on a sure foundation, fostering spiritual development, and igniting evangelistic impact that reveals the love of God to all generations.

Raised in Kokomo, Indiana, Christopher developed a deep prayer life and connection with Christ, instilled by his parents and grandparents.  He met his wife, Christine (Edmonson) Patterson, while he played drums, and Christine sang in the International Pentecostal Young People’s choir.  Married at the historic Christ Temple Apostolic Church (Indianapolis), they moved to California in 1997.  Christopher and Christine are dedicated to demonstrating Christ through their marriage and ministry. For 16 years, they've facilitated the "Dynamic Marriage" program, certifying 150 couples and helping families find healing and stronger relationships in Christ.

Christopher’s ministry journey includes serving at New Bethel Tabernacle (Kokomo, IN) under Dist. Eld. Rufus Mills, Christ Church Apostolic (Indianapolis, IN) where he served under Bishop James E. Tyson as a drummer, Youth Director and accepted his call to ministry, and Covenant Church (Berkeley) where he served under Bishop K.R. Woods as Christian Education Director, Care Pastor, Couples Pastor, and Executive Pastor.  He also served at The Rock Church Bay Area under the mentorship and guidance of District Elder Christopher and Lady Nakia Foster where he and Christine experienced the reality that people are still hungry for the true gospel and will respond to authentic ministry that displays love in excellence and creativity.

Christopher holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix and has excelled in a 27-year technology career, including 13 years as IT Director.  An ordained Elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., he is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Regent University.

His mission is to empower believers, ignite transformation, and win the lost through impactful connections and servant leadership.  With unwavering integrity, he strives to please God, edify the church, and equip it for unprecedented growth that extends beyond his time as pastor.
